Winnipeg back under extreme cold warning

WINNIPEG — Parts of the province are back under an extreme cold warning.

Environment Canada says with the wind, it feels like -39 Celsius in Winnipeg.

On Friday morning the entire province was under an extreme cold warning, with wind chill values between -35 C and -45 C over most of Manitoba and into portions of Saskatchewan.

Saturday temperatures slowly improve with a high of -18 C and that will hold steady into the evening as well.

We start to see more seasonal temperatures by Sunday.
