Fire crews in Vancouver battled a large fire that engulfed a restaurant on Grandview Highway early Wednesday morning.
Crews managed to knock down the fire at Sushi Royal House Restaurant before it spread to neighbouring businesses.
The fire started at about 2 a.m. and there was extensive damage to the kitchen, along with minor smoke damage to a laundromat and a Fresh Slice Pizza.
Officials say it does not appear the fire is suspicious and that it could have been worse.
