HAMILTON – The trial of two men accused of killing Tim Bosma in 2013 continues today in a Hamilton court.
Dellen Millard of Toronto, and Mark Smich of Oakville, Ontario, have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the death of Bosma, whose body was found burned beyond recognition.
A police officer told court yesterday about a frantic search of a trailer found north of Toronto as they looked for the missing Hamilton man.
Constable Cory Weick said he and another officer responded to a call about a “suspicious trailer” that might be related to Bosma about a week after he’d disappeared while taking two men on a test drive.
Weick said officers broke into the large trailer that was parked at the home of Millard’s mother — Madeleine Burns — and found a black pickup identified as Bosma’s but found no trace of the missing man.
Weick said they discovered that the trailer was registered to Millardair, an aviation company owned by Millard.
