One person in custody after female victim stabbed at Shuter and Parliament

Police say they have one person in custody after a female was stabbed in Toronto early Wednesday morning.

Toronto paramedics say they responded to the scene around 4:20 a.m. and located a female victim with serious stab wounds.

Police say the incident happened near Shuter Street and Parliament Street.

There’s no word on the motive of the stabbing and the investigation is ongoing.
