REGINA – A three-vehicle crash in downtown Regina led to the arrest of a 30-year-old woman.
On Monday evening at around 7:15 p.m. police were called to the intersection of Albert Street and Victoria Avenue for a collision. A vehicle rear-ended a second vehicle stopped at a red light, which in turn struck a third vehicle.

The occupants of the initial vehicle fled the scene before police arrived and a search of that vehicle revealed a firearm. Police attended the registered owners address and arrested and charged a 33-year-old woman.
30-year-old Leandra Lynn Newman is facing several charges including careless use of a firearm and driving while impaired.
