The incident took place on King Street East approaching Jarvis Street on May 14, 2012.

Police said Ibrahim swerved from the passing lane to the curb lane hitting the longboarder and snapping his longboard in half.

The taxi driver insisted he didn’t hear or see anything leading up to the collision.

The crown said Ibrahim had no reason to swerve other than to target Bissonnette.
