A home at the centre of a homicide investigation has been destroyed by a fire that police believe may have been intentionally set.
A neighbour first spotted flames at a house located just north of the Trans-Canada Highway off Morley Road (Highway 133X) around 11 p.m. Monday night. By the time firefighters arrived at the Morley home, nothing could be done to save it.
On Jan. 22, Wilfred Junior Amos was found dead inside the same house.
The man who lived there, Gavin Bearhead, was charged with manslaughter in the case. He appeared in a Cochrane court Tuesday.

Police said the fire will not have an impact on the investigation.
No one was living in the home at the time of the fire.

Morley is about 60 kilometres west of Calgary.
