Personal support worker charged with sex assault on hospital patient, 88

RICHMOND HILL, Ont. – A 51-year-old personal support worker is facing a sexual assault charge after allegations that he violated a patient in his care.

York Regional Police allege an 88-year-old woman was sexually assaulted between August and October of last year.

At the time, the woman was a patient at the Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill, just north of Toronto.

Police arrested Soja Zadeh of Newmarket, Ont., who they say was also known under the name Shojaadin Mohammad-Zadeh.

They say they believe there are other alleged victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Zadeh was held on bail and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
