CALGARY – Justin McQueen is still in shock, trying to process the sudden loss of his dad.

Dave McQueen, 54, was shot and killed by police following a tense standoff in Huntington Hills on Sunday.

McQueen’s 24-year-old son has fond memories of his father, and says he doesn’t want his dad remembered for how he died–but how he lived.

As Jill Croteau reports, Justin said his father was depressed, desperate and crying out for help–but nobody was listening.
