Guelph police searching for 3 suspects after pickup truck rams through strip club, steals ATM

TORONTO — Police in Guelph, Ont. are looking for three suspects who rammed a pickup truck through the front doors of a strip club and drove off with an ATM Wednesday morning.

Police responded to a call that a truck was being used to smash through the front doors of the Manor Adult Entertainment Complex on Silvercreek Parkway just before 7 a.m.

Officers arrived on scene and found the truck pulling an ATM on the ground with a chain as it drove onto Wellington Street heading west.

Police said the ATM was then released from the truck on Wellington Street near the Hanlon Expressway overpass. The truck was last seen driving west on Wellington Street.

Three suspects are being sought and police said they caused extensive damage to the entrance of the hotel.

Police described the truck as a dark-coloured crew cab four-door pickup truck with a short box, possibly a Ford F-150. Police said they don’t expect the truck to have any damage but it may have been dragging a chain.

There was no description of the suspects provided.
