EDMONTON – Two suites were damaged in an apartment fire in the Capilano area Wednesday night.
Fire crews were called to the Shalimar Plaza Condominiums in the area of 62 Street and 98 Avenue at around 8:45 p.m.

The entire complex was evacuated as crews worked to contain the blaze. A spokesperson with Edmonton Fire Rescue Services said some residents may be allowed to return home Wednesday night.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
