One person is dead after a collision on Highway 2, 49 km north of the Waskesiu Junction on Wednesday.
RCMP were called to the scene just before noon after a car and one-ton truck hauling a trailer with aviation fuel collided on the highway.

The name of the deceased is 31-year-old Derek Simon from Saskatoon.
The driver of the truck was treated by Prince Albert EMS for his injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
