Kwan Dixon runs Pop’s Popcorn and Koosier Daddy’s Food Cart, and has been gaining attention for offering hot eats, cold drinks, and a side of adult sex toys.

Dixon sells standard items like candy bars, chips, and gum but says his biggest sellers are the adult treats.

“I’m a vendor. I don’t sell just food. That’s just a part of it, that’s an attraction,” he said.

The entrepreneur says the sex toys are part of providing a diverse range of goods for customers.

“Sex sells. Everybody loves sex,” says Dixon. “Shoot, food sells too, just as well.”

According to Dixon, The Bullet, which costs $10 US, is his hottest selling item.

“That’s the main one they pick up,” he exclaims.

Dixon jokes his business model of selling food and sex makes a lot of sense.

“Gotta have something afterwards,” he said.

“Sex sells. We all love it. We love it more than we actually show it,” he says. “Is sex selling in Evansville? Yeah!”

But not everyone in the city is loving what he’s selling.

According to a report by television station WFIE, police and city officials had been watching Dixon’s business, and shut down the cart shortly after the report was filed.

WFIE reported the city closed the cart because of expired permits and failure to declare he was selling sex toys.

The station reports Dixon is able to return to business if he updates his permits.

Dixon took to social media to show that he does have valid permits, posting, “I’m legal. Here’s the proof. Sorry for the toys. I’m trying to put a little buzz in your life.”
