LACHINE – The 15th edition of the Lac Saint-Louis indoor soccer tournament kicks off Friday evening at Lachine’s Soccerplexe Catalogna.
Association director Georges Tissot said it offers youth an opportunity to face competition from across Quebec and eastern Ontario – something he didn’t enjoy in his native France.
“It’s a unique chance for these kids,” he told Global News.
Some teams come from as far away as Ontario to compete in the tournament, while the West Island is well represented.
“You have Dorval, Pointe-Claire, Kirkland,” she said.
