WINNIPEG — The Canadian Cancer Society is putting people behind bars for a good cause Monday, January 18. The Jail and Bail fundraiser is hoping to bring money to help with the various programs offered by the cancer society.

On Wednesday, Global’s Morning News spoke with the organizer of the event, Genny Sacco-Bak and one of the participants, Pat Werestiuk.
Events such as Jail-N-Bail are so important, according to Sacco-Bak. The event is taking place at CF Polo Park Monday, January 18th, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
