EDMONTON — Strathcona County Emergency Services says 22 families have been displaced following a fire at an apartment building in south Sherwood Park.
The fire broke out Tuesday night at a 24-suite apartment building located at 31 Spruce Ave.
The fire chief said the blaze started in a main floor suite and was contained to the one unit, but some of the building suffered smoke damage.
The chief said 22 families will be out of their homes at least overnight.
