TORONTO – A photographer accused of sexually assaulting teenage female clients is facing new charges after two more victims came forward, police said.
Sinnarajah Sivasubramaniam was first arrested in November and charged with three counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
Police said Sivasubramaniam operated a photography studio in Scarborough in the early 2000s called Y2K studios, also known as Siva’s Studios.
During that time, he allegedly used his position as a photographer to sexually assault teenaged girls during photo shoots.

After his arrest, police appealed to the public asking other victims to come forward. On Wednesday, they announced that two people had come forward, resulting in new charges.
Sivasubramaniam is now additionally charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.
