Police are investigating a gunshot in Prince Albert, Sask. that was reported Saturday morning. Officers were called to the 500-block of Southwood Drive.

Investigators say a firearm was discharged and a man suffered a non-life threatening injury. Police are not releasing the man’s age at this time.

Parkland Ambulance says it responded to an assault in the area at around 3:25 a.m. CT.

Paramedics cared for an injured man who was taken to hospital in good and stable condition for further care.
