MATTAWA, Ont. – Provincial police in Mattawa, Ont., are looking for a dog that allegedly attacked a toddler and sent him to hospital Saturday evening.
They say the toddler and his mother were on their way to a Santa Claus parade when the dog lunged at him.
The dog, which investigators describe as large with short, black hair and pointed ears, attacked the boy in his stroller, biting the child’s face before his mother was able to fend it off.

Police say the boy was sent to hospital for medical attention.
They say they’ve been unable to find the dog or its owner, and are seeking the public’s assistance.
