LETHBRIDGE – Two women face multiple charges following a break and enter and theft of a handgun.

Sunday morning, just after 1 a.m. the Lethbridge Regional Police Service was called to a break-in in progress on the north side. Officers found a home with a broken window and front door dislodged. No one was inside and it was determined a number of items, including a handgun, had been stolen.

Police were able to identify the suspects and tracked them to a home on Grand River Boulevard West, in the community of Riverstone. Because of the suspected presence of a gun, the tactical team was called to assist and the public was asked to stay away.
