Edmonton’s biggest snowball fight is back!

EDMONTON – The organizers behind Edmonton’s biggest snowball fight are waiting for the snow to starting flying!

The duo, Robin Mazumder and Jeff Chase, say when it does, be ready Edmonton. Participants are being asked to sign up in order to receive an e-mail or text message alerting them as to when the battle will take place. When the snow is finally here and conditions are right they’ll send out an announcement letting participants know the location and time of the snowball fight.

Last year, hundreds turned out for the inaugural battle in Kinsmen Park which also helped support Edmonton’s Food Bank.

Billed as a way to get people out having fun and enjoying our long winter season, this year organizers are also taking the snowball fight to Calgary for the first time. They say both are great cities and know how to embrace the snow.
