TORONTO — Police have released a photo of an 82-year-old grandmother killed in Scarborough last week.
Stella Tetsos was found inside her home on Elfreda Boulevard near St. Clair Avenue East and Birchmount Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the suspect broke into the home through a window and the murder is believed to have happened between Monday and Wednesday.

Investigators said the body was discovered by someone who had come to check on the victim.
An autopsy report determined the elderly woman died as a result of a blunt-force injury.
Sinbad King Simba Marshall, 21, was arrested Friday and faces a charge of second-degree murder and break-and-enter.

The accused made a court appearance Friday but was adjourned until Nov. 25.
Police said Marshall also previously faced charges for forcible confinement and aggravated assault for a violent break-and-enter in the same Birchmount and St. Clair area in 2013.
The victim in that case suffered serious injuries.
Police said the family gave consent to release the photo on Monday, but wanted privacy in the wake of Tetsos’ death and would not disclose funeral arrangements.
