Suspicious death of teenage girl in west Edmonton

EDMONTON – Edmonton police homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a teenage girl at a townhouse complex in west Edmonton.

A police spokesman said around 5 p.m. on Saturday, west division officers responded to a 911 call for assistance at an address near 96th Avenue and 176th  Street in the Terra Losa neighbourhood.

Police arrived to find the body of a teenage girl in a home, and homicide detectives subsequently took over the investigation.

No other details have been released and police were not available to comment on Saturday night.
