CALGARY – The race for first place in the CFL’s West Division tightened with the Edmonton Eskimos’ 15-11 win over the Calgary Stampeders.

Both teams are 11-4 and assured playoff berths.

The Eskimos take the season series between their provincial rivals with a two and one record against the Stampeders.

Kenny Stafford had a touchdown catch for the Eskimos with kicker Sean Whyte booting two field goals, a convert and a pair of punt singles.

Eric Rogers caught a touchdown pass for Calgary.

Jon Cornish added a two-point convert and Stampeder punter Rob Maver kicked three punt singles.
