Search underway off Kearney Lake Road for missing brothers

HALIFAX – Halifax Search and Rescue, along with Halifax Regional Police, are searching a wooded area off of Kearney Lake Road for two missing brothers from Clayton Park.

19-year-old Damien Roy and 18-year-old Bailey Roy were reported missing on Sunday, October 4 around 8:20am.

One of the men returned to their home on Fairfax Drive in Clayton Park briefly around 3:38am on Tuesday, October 6, but neither man has been seen or heard from since.

Cst. Stacey Opalka of Halifax Regional Police says it’s believed the men have frequented the area where the search is underway.

Damien is described as white, 6’1″ tall, with a thin build, blue eyes and a shaved head.

Bailey is described as white, 5’8″ tall, with a thin build, brown eyes and a shaved head.

The men were last seen wearing camouflage clothing.

Police do not believe Damien and Bailey have met with foul play, but they are concerned for their well-being.
