After asking her mom whether she was ready to be friends with her ex-husband, Tiana says she just doesn’t want her parents to be “meanies.”

“I’m not trying to mean, I just want everyone to be friends. And if I can be nice, I think all of us can be nice too,” she says in the video.

The first-grader goes on to share her hopes and dreams for the world: that everyone would smile and be friends.

First posted online last Wednesday, the video has already been viewed 9.6 million times on Facebook.
