WATCH ABOVE: York police release footage of voyeurism incident at Richmond Hill grocery store
TORONTO – Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect for allegedly taking an upskirt photograph of a woman at a Richmond Hill grocery store last month.
The incident took place on Aug. 16 around 7 p.m. as the female victim was shopping with another friend at a store located in the area of Yonge Street and Meadowview Avenue.
York Regional Police say the male suspect bent down and proceeded to crouch beside her.
Video of the incident released by police appears to show the man placing a mobile phone under the woman’s skirt.
The suspect walked away after the victim noticed someone was behind her.
The man is described as white, between 25 to 35 years of age, 150 lbs., and with red hair.
He was wearing blue jeans, a green-and-white checkered shirt, a blue-and-white Hartford Whalers hat and black and white running shoes.
