WINNIPEG – Families gearing up for fall who want to register for swimming lessons can register at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The annual rush for fall swimming lessons at City of Winnipeg pools has parents logging on promptly when registration opens so they can get their children into the programs they need at convenient times.

The Fall 2015 Leisure Guide has been available for weeks and can be viewed online at Winnipeg.ca.

Registration for swimming can be completed online at leisureonline.ca, via phone by calling 311 or in person on Aug. 25 and 26 at:

  • Central Registration Centre, 999 Sargent Ave.;
  • Southeast Registration Centre, 1168 Dakota St.;
  • Pan Am Pool, 25 Poseidon Bay;
  • North Centennial Recreation and Leisure Facility, 90 Sinclair St.;
  • Transcona Centennial Pool, 1101 Wabasha St.;
  • St. James Assiniboia Centennial Pool, 644 Parkdale St.; and
  • Elmwood Kildonans Pool, 909 Concordia Ave.

Registration for all other fall recreation programs begins Wednesday at 8 a.m.
