TORONTO — Will Smith insisted Monday he is not divorcing Jada Pinkett Smith.

In a Facebook post, the actor addressed a RadarOnline report that his 17-year marriage is over.

“Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness,” Smith wrote on Facebook. “But, so many people have extended me their ‘deepest condolences’ that I figured – ‘What the hell… I can be foolish, too!’

“So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are… NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Smith also told his 74 million followers: “I promise you all – if I ever decide to divorce my Queen – I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself!”

Jada Pinkett Smith let her husband do the talking.

RadarOnline quotes an unnamed source as saying the Smiths have worked out a confidential settlement and will announce their split at the end of the summer.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

“They’re exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union,” RadarOnline quoted its source as saying. “They’ve decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner.

“They’re already moving on with their lives. All that’s left is the inking of the divorce papers.”

Will, 46, and Jada, 43, were married in 1997 and have two children together: Jaden, 17, and Willow, 15. Will also has a 22-year-old son with first wife Sheree Zampino.

In an interview with radio host Howard Stern in June, Pinkett Smith said: “I’m not the kind of woman that believes a man is not going to be attracted to other women. I’m just not that girl. It’s just not realistic. And just because your man is attracted to another woman, does not mean he doesn’t love you! And it doesn’t mean he’s gonna act on it.”
