Twitter erupts after Toronto Blue Jays acquire David Price from Detroit Tigers

TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays acquiring star pitcher David Price from the Detroit Tigers lit up Twitter on Thursday.

CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman was first to report the just after 12:30 p.m.

The Blue Jays later confirmed the trade just before 2 p.m.

The deal will see Daniel Norris, Jairo Labourt and Matt Boyd head to the Tigers.
