EDMONTON — A woman was killed in a crash between an SUV and a semi truck near Westlock Thursday morning.
RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 18 around 8:15 a.m.

Officers say the SUV crossed the centre line and drove into the path of an oncoming semi. The two vehicles collided head-on.
The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries. The woman behind the wheel of the SUV was pronounced dead on scene.
Highway 18 was reduced to one lane while officers investigated Thursday morning.
Westlock is 90 kilometres north of Edmonton.
