MONTREAL – After five successful summer seasons at the Capitole de Québec, The Man in Black has arrived in Montreal – and it’s just in time for the 33rd edition of the Just for Laughs Festival.

The show is a tribute to the life and music of American singer-songwriter Johnny Cash and is being presented at the Théâtre St-Denis from July 1 to 11.

The famous singer is brought to life by talented impersonator Shawn Barker, whose resemblance to Cash is truly uncanny.

Accompanied by four musicians and two back-up singers, Barker said they like to “stir the embers and pump the crowd” to keep the show exciting and fresh every night.

Barker said he’s excited to walk Montreal’s musical line to honour one of music’s greatest legends.
