TORONTO — Police in Guelph, Ont. arrested a man Tuesday night for riding a motorized bike onto the set of the James Franco miniseries 11/22/63.
A 19-year-old was stopped by officers on scene after riding past them at “a high speed.”
He was charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance, dangerous driving, four counts of breaching probation, three counts of breach of recognizance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The suspect is alleged to have been carrying crystal meth.
In 11/22/63, is a miniseries for the U.S. streaming service Hulu, Franco plays an English teacher who travels back in time to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Based on the 2011 novel by Stephen King, the miniseries also stars Chris Cooper, Sarah Gadon and T. R. Knight.
Production in Guelph wraps Wednesday and returns June 22 to 24.
11/22/63 is scheduled to shoot in Ontario until mid-October.
Franco’s presence has generated plenty of buzz on social media.
