UPDATE: Police continue to look for leads into the death of Danielle Nyland
SHELLBROOK, Sask. – Saskatchewan RCMP continue to search for a missing woman. Officials are asking for the public’s help locating Danielle Nyland, 22, who was last seen on June 8.
Investigators determined she attended a social gathering in the East Flats area of Prince Albert in the early hours of June 8 and was then in the Shellbrook area around 7:30 a.m. RCMP are concerned for the Prince Albert woman’s safety.
Nyland’s cellphone was found at the end of a driveway at a residence around 9.5 kilometres east of Shellbrook. Coordinated searches have taken place in areas around Shellbrook and are continuing.

Since being reported missing on June 10, she has had no banking transactions or social media activity.
RCMP are trying to get in touch with people who had contact with Nyland leading up to her disappearance.
Officers are also looking for the owner of a white pickup truck, possibly a Dodge, that may have been stolen from the Prince Albert or Shellbrook area. RCMP say the vehicle could have been abandoned and should be reported immediately.
Nyland is described as being of Métis descent, five-foot six, 180 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. It is unconfirmed, but she may have been wearing a white jacket, black leggings and a black tank top with a pattern on it.
