A minute-long video of Shia LaBeouf berating the viewer to “just do it” is getting attention Monday as clever Internet users exploit the video’s green screen to put LaBeouf wherever they want.
The clip was part of a nine-minute video of the Transformers star delivering several pieces of spoken word introductions to art projects. It was a collaboration with fine art students at the Central Saint Martins school in London.
The intense motivational speech is going viral (and not because it has the gravitas of Al Pacino’s ‘game of inches’ speech in Any Given Sunday). LaBeouf angrily shouts “just do it” at the viewer while he flexes and paces.
“Do it. Just do it. Don’t let your dreams be dreams. Yesterday, you said tomorrow, so just do it.”
So, naturally, the Internet exploited its comedic value. We’ve selected the best renditions of LaBeouf’s motivational speech.
