Toronto man faces 56 charges related to thefts at apartment storage lockers

TORONTO – Toronto police have made an arrest in connection to a series of thefts at apartment storage lockers across the city.

Jonathan Lloyd, 30, has been charged with 56 criminal offences including 45 counts of break-and-enter, four counts of possession of property obtained by crime and seven counts of possession of break-in instrument.

Police say the accused committed the robberies during a six month period at apartment building across the Greater Toronto Area.

It is alleged the man targeted specific storage lockers and stole a quantity of items.

Police are inviting victims to attend a viewing session at 41 Division at 2222 Eglinton Ave. E. today, May 29, between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. to claim their stolen belongings.

2) 757 Victoria Park Avenue, Toronto
3) 1080 Kingston Road, Toronto
4) 3520 Danforth Avenue, Toronto
5) 1004 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto
6) 2250 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto

Those who plan to attend should bring photo I.D. and proof of address.
