Montreal police deputy director steps down

MONTREAL – Deputy police chief Bruno Pasquini has announced he will be leaving his post with the SPVM to take on the position of Director within the Richelieu regional police force at the end of June.

This comes just three weeks after Chief of Police Marc Parent announced he would not be seeking a new mandate come September.

That means Montreal police will need to fill the top two jobs within the organization.

Pasquini has served on the force since 1981.

The City if Montreal is now seeking candidates to fill both positions.
