Funeral arrangements have been made for Dorothy Woods.
The 45-year-old mother of two will be laid to rest at a service in Saskatoon Friday afternoon.
Woods had been missing for close to two months when her body was discovered in a culvert near Blackstrap Lake last week.
Her husband, 49-year-old David Woods, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Dorothy Woods’ was described by friends as a vivacious member of the community who touch many lives.
She was also involved in the local roller derby community and ran a daycare from her home.
The funeral for Dorothy Woods beings at 1:00 p.m. at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre.
At the request of the family, Global Saskatoon will not be covering the funeral service.
