WATCH: A man in his 20s was taken to hospital and another in police custody after a stabbing around Gottingen Street this morning. Ray Bradshaw reports.
HALIFAX – A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after a 28-year-old man was stabbed near Gottingen Street in Halifax earlier in the day.
Police responded to the Salvation Army on Gottingen Street just before 10 a.m. after reports a man had been stabbed.
Investigators say the man was stabbed on Cornwallis Street before making his way down Gottingen Street. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police took a man into custody at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in relation to the incident.
