EDMONTON – Police are searching for two men following a violent assault in southwest Edmonton that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
It happened just after 10 p.m. on Friday, May 1.
Two people left an address the area of 111B Street and 27 Avenue, where they discovered a colleague suffering from several injuries.
The 59-year-old victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators are looking for two men, who they say were in the area approaching drivers in their vehicles on the night of the assault.
One of the suspects is described as Caucasian or Metis, between the ages of 25 and 30. He’s approximately 6’3 and weighs between 230 and 250 pounds. He has a muscular build and dark, curly, shoulder-length hair. He was wearing dark track pants and a dark hoodie the night of the assault.
The other man is Caucasian between the ages of 25 and 30. He is 5’8 and 150 pounds with a skinny build and was wearing a hat tilted to the side.
