Alberta Election 2015: Wildrose’s Jason Nixon wins Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre riding

The candidate for the Wildrose has won the seat for Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre in the 2015 Alberta election.

Prior to Tuesday, this riding had only seen one election, when it elected Joe Anglin as a member of the Wildrose Party in 2012. Anglin left the party in 2014, but was not allowed to run for the PCs, so he fought for re-election as an independent.

After Tuesday night’s election, Anglin was in last place behind the Nixon, the PC’s Tammy Cote and Hannah Schlamp for the NDP.
