Airdrie RMCP are investigating the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in December of last year.
The victim says she was walking east on a pedestrian overpass in southeast Airdrie around 9 pm on December 20, 2011 when she noticed someone was following her.
The teen says she was attacked just as she finished crossing over the walkway, in the Edgewater/Airdrie Meadows area.

Although RMCP can’t confirm the sex of the offender, the young victim said she believes her attacker was female.
The suspect is described as having feminine attributes and a female sounding voice, 5’6 feel tall, 125 lbs, medium size, fair skin, light coloured eyes with shoulder length blonde hair, wearing a black wool knit touque and all black clothing.
