Police still seeking information about murder victim found in a Regina alley

UPDATE: Regina police are repeating a request for information regarding the investigation of Evenson’s murder. At this time, no one has been charged in connection with the homicide. 

REGINA – Police have released the name of the man who was found dead in an alley Wednesday night.

He’s been identified as 55-year-old Timothy Rae Evenson. His next of kin have been notified.

Evenson’s body was discovered in the alley between Retallack and Robinson Streets just before 9:50 p.m. Wednesday. On Thursday police confirmed it was a homicide investigation.

No charges have been laid in the case.

This is an active, ongoing investigation.  Anyone who has information in this case is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
