WATCH: Act of kindness brings NYC subway flower vendor to tears

Some things are worth the wait.

A cellphone video filmed on the 6 train in New York City two years ago went viral this week.

The overdue attention for the clip titled “Miracle on the 6 train today” came after it was posted on Reddit on Monday. Now it has garnered over 11 million views online.

The clip shows a rose vendor attempting to sell her flowers for a dollar each on the subway.

A man asks, “So it would it be $140 for everything?” He hands her the cash but adds a caveat.

“You gotta do me a favour,” he says. “You gotta give them out today. Just give them out. Don’t sell any of them. Give them all away.”

His act of kindness moved the woman to tears, but he tells her not to cry because it’s a happy day. The mystery man makes her promise to give out the flowers before he exits the train.

Sobbing, the vendor tells passengers that if they would like a rose, they should come and take one.

The woman eventually exclaims “Free roses!” as she laughs at her luck.

The passenger who filmed the interaction reposted the clip to Facebook after it went viral on Reddit, expressing her disbelief at having witnessed the random act of kindness.
