Woman in serious condition after rollover on QEII Highway

A woman is in serious, but stable condition after a single-vehicle rollover on the QEII Highway Saturday morning,

EMS received reports of a collision around 8 a.m. on Saturday near Crossfield.

EMS says the driver lost control, and rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the centre northbound lanes.

Crews from Airdrie and Crossfield Fire responded to the crash, and requested STARS.

There was significant damage to the vehicle, and ground crews extricated a female driver in her 40s from the vehicle.

STARS was called down.

The driver was taken to Foothills Hospital in serious, but stable condition.

There were not any passengers in the vehicle.

RCMP are looking into possible causes for the crash.
