Jaws of life used to free woman after collision in Scarborough

TORONTO – A female passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Scarborough early Friday morning.

The incident happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Kennedy Rd. and Eglinton Ave.

The victim was trapped for nearly an hour inside the car before emergency crews managed to set her free.

The drivers of both vehicles were uninjured.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
