HALIFAX- Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man who used a credit card stolen from a downtown bar.
On March 20, a woman was out at a downtown Halifax bar when she realized that her purse, containing her credit card, had been stolen. When she reported the theft to the credit card company the following day, she was informed that someone had used her card at a number of businesses throughout HRM.

Police are releasing pictures of a man who used the stolen credit card at the Sobey’s Fast Fuel at 543 Portland Street and the Shoppers Drug Mart on Tacoma Drive in Dartmouth. He is described as a white man in his thirties, with a beard and wearing glasses. At the time of the incident; he was wearing a “Dewalt” baseball cap and driving a silver Dodge Grand Caravan.
