WINDSOR- Former Chief Administrative Officer of West Hants Municipality has been charged with breach of public trust and fraud over $5000.
Windsor Rural RCMP were contacted in June 2014 after noticing suspicious irregularities in their financial records. After an audit was conducted and the RCMP began an nine month investigation leading to the arrest of 55 year-old Cheryl Chislett on Tuesday.
Chislett has been released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in Windsor Provincial Court on April 28th, 2015.
