EDMONTON – A man who was found dead on the side of a rural road near Rimbey earlier this week has been identified as Paul Michaniuk.
Police say the 70-year-old was a resident of the rural area northwest of Rimbey. His death has been ruled a homicide, but the cause of his death has not been released.

Investigators say the suspect in the case, whose identity has not been released, was found dead by suicide in Rimbey. Police are not searching for any other suspects.
RCMP are still looking for more details in the case. They ask anyone with information to contact the Red Deer Major Crimes Unit at 403-396-4047.
