As a result, police have arrested and charged 39-year-old Ryan Chamberlin with sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching, sexual interference and sexual exploitation.

Chamberlin was a hockey coach and worked in several southern Saskatchewan communities.

So far, no additional victims have been identified, but investigators are asking parents who know their children had contact with Chamberlin to ask them if there were any “private, uncomfortable, or inappropriate conversations or interactions” with him. Parents should discuss the nature of these conversations or interactions with their kids and report anything they are uncomfortable with to police.

Chamberlin appeared in Swift Current provincial court on Friday and was released on conditions, including not to communicate directly or indirectly with the victim and anyone under the age of 18 unless in the company of an approved adult, probation officer or supervisor.

His next court appearance is scheduled for March 23.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP at 306-778-4870 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
